NEW ZEALAND COUNCIL. A special meeting of the New Zealand Golf Council was held on Monday, when there were present: Sir Alexander Roberts (chairman), Messrs W. A. K-iely, A. D. 8. Duncan, M. J. Crombie, Colonel R. O. Chesney, and Mr G. O. Sutton (secretary). An apology for absence was received from Mr L. (J. H.
