PAPARUA COUNTY COUNCIL.
ANNUAL MEETING HELD. After paying £10,424 to the Main Highways Board, and a levy of £3034 to the Hospital Board the Paparua County Council had a credit bplanco of £2311 for the year ending March 31st,- 1930. These figures wore disclosed by the bal-ance-sheet presented to the nineteenth annual meeting of the Council, held yeßterday. The total rates levied amounted to £9062, Out of which the Hospital levy was paid. The amount paid to the Highways Board was the Council's contribution towards the reconstruction of the road from Sockburn to Rolleston. The credit balance on March 31st, 1929, had been £B3OO. The annual report and balance-sheet were adopted.
