CHURCH ANNIVERSARY SERVICES.
'i'he fifty-second anniversary services of the Sydenham Methodist Church were celebrated last Sunday when_the preacher in the morning was-the Rev. A. N. Scotter, B.A. (president of the conference), who gave a very instructive address on "The Fitness of Things." In the afternoon the Woolston Methodist Choir, under the leadership of Mr Lawrence Riokard, gave a sacred cantata, the eoloista being Mrs H. Newton, Miss H. Miller, MrColin Richardß, and Mr E. Rogers. The preacher was the Rev. E. Chambers. The preacher in the evening was the Rev. B. Metson. The services were continued on Tuesday night, when an address was given by the Rev. D. Gardner Miller and an attractive programme was submitted.
