PARTY AT SPRINGSTON SOUTH. Mr and Mrs Frank Greaves entertained a number of their friends on Saturday evening to celebrate the coming-of-age of their only .child, Thelma. The partv was held in the Springston South Hall, when a very eniovable time was spent. The guest of honour wore a pretty almond green celanese frock, and carried a posy ot violets. Dancinsr and games formed part of the evening's programme, and Mr W Eddy contributed a vocal item. After supper Miss Greaves cut the hirthdav cake, wich was adorned with 21 kewpies. Mr E. J. Harris proposed the health of the truest of honour, and Mr George Roberts and Mr Frank Kimber also spoke. Mr Greaves smtnblv responded on behalf # of his datichter. Miss Greaves received many birthday gifts. A lucky spot waltz was won by Mrs G. Harris and Mr Baker. A competition was won; by Mr FT. Woods. Mr L. Everest and 'Mrs H. Fletcher suppled the music. Mr H. Fletcher wns'M.C.
