TRAIN STRIKES LORRY. DRIVER SUFFERS HEAD INJURIES. [THE PBBBS Special Service.] WELLINGTON, May 28. A train and a motor-lorry collided fct a crossing at Wallaccville this morning, and the driver o£ the lorry, A. Gorrie, a carrier at Wallaceville, had a. narrow escape from being killed outtfght. The train struck the lorry broad■ido on near the rear right wheel and threw it clear of the rails about twentyfive feet away. The driver was thrown over a fence which broke his fall. CYCLIST'S LEG BROKEN.

When admitted to the Christchurch Hospital he was found to have a fractured leg. Otherwise his injuries are not serious.
