THE BOWLING SEASON.
TO THE EDITOR O* THE PBES3. Sir, —I am very pleased that bowlers aro beginning to wake up. As a bowler I am very disappointed with bowling as a sport. One becomes a member of a club, and finds very little chance of making progress. The same skips are appointed Saturday after Saturday, and a new player has very little opportunity of making headway. When first, second, and third players are worth as much as the skip, the game will be of greater interest to all members of clubs. I consider the grading of players an excellent idea, and trust that the Centre will see its way to adopt this suggestion, and forward same to all clubs for consideration. —Yours, etc., PKOGKESS OF GAME. May Ist, 1930.
