The New Zealand Meat Producers' Board has received a cablegram from its representative at Buenos Ayres, advising the following shipments to the United Kingdom- for tho fortnight ended April 24th, 1980, from Argentine and Uruguay (the figures do not include exports from Patagonia, Chile*. or Brazil):— Quarters chilled beef .. 236,740 Quarters frozen beef .. 2,850 Carcases frozen mutton .. 64,430 - Carcases frozen lamb ..' 162,800 The quantity shipped to the Continent of Europe during the same period was as f0110w5:—86,717 10w5:—86,717 quarters frozen beef, 11,814 carcases frozen mutton, 2600 carcases frozen lamb.
