Timms, president, was in the chair. After welcoming all old members, also those of other years who had recently joined the Association, the president asked all to stand for a few seconds in" remembrance of those who had died since last reunion. The chairman said that this gathering was the jubilee of the 1880 voyage. Mr J. Wills, of Dunedin, telegraphed congratulations. A letter was read from the ex-Governor, Sir Charles Fergusson, thanking the Association for a copy of "The Clipper Ship Crusader," containing records, reminiscences, and photographs associated with voyages of the good old ship. He sent his best wishes to all members and wished the Crusader Association every success. The Association wrote to Mrs J. HFox, of Wharerauga, Hawke's Bay, congratulating her on attaining her hundredth birthday, and expressed the hope that she would be spared many years to come. Mrs Fox came out in the Crusader in 1878. The president said the time had now come for the election of officers and committee for the coming year, and explained how the old committee did not want to monopolise these positions and trusted that others would be nominated who came out in other years besides 1874. Before receiving nominations the secretary gave a short account of the objects of the society, concluding with the remarks made by Sir Charles Fergusson and the Lady Alice Fergusson, how that anything which can be done to keep alive the high ideals of our forefathers would be worthy lines for all to follow in this beautiful land of ours. He handed Mr Woodfield a cheque in recognition of services rendered to the Association. The chairman's remarks were endorsed and replied to by Messrs E. B. Dalley, C. Allington, J. Cleland, and H. Hes : r;% Mr Woodfield thanked the presidf I '*; and members, but considered his ;$,• -** small compared with that of the president, and other officers and committee, and without the attendance and financial'help of members, coupled with the name of Mr H. In congratulating the team on its achievement, Mrs Moore said that the record of the club for the season in the interclub matches had been particularly fine. Of the eighteen matches played by the two teams, only one had been lost, and one had ended in a draw. A note of originality was struck, when, during the afternoon tea inter: val, some verses composed for the occasion by Mrs F. Wood were read by one of the members. As the rhymes dealt with the peculiarities of the victorious team, they caused much amusement. Mrs A. Turner, Mrs E. D. Mosley, and the junior captain, Mrs J.
