TIMARU OLD BOYS.
ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Timaru Old Boys' Association (North Canterbury Branch) was held on-Wednesday ■ evening when Mr F. 6. Dunn presided over a well-attended meeting. The annual report showed that the preceding year had been a very sucoessfo! one. The roll now shows that there are approximately 150 old boys jn the district. The annual dinner and danoe of the association were well attended and both had been very enpoyable functions. It is hoped to repeat these functions this year.
The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows:—Patron, Mr W. Thomas; president, Dr. G. Gunn; vice-presidents, Messrs V. J. McKibbon, M. J. Scott, and J. B. Htawkes; secretary, Mr B. W. Presland; treasurer. Mr E. A. Cleland; committee. Messrs H. B. Low, D. I. Mac Donald, W. J, Scott, and R. Pearson.
The general discussion centred on the school jubilee, which is taking place next Easter, and it is to be hoped that all old boys will endeavour to be present. Advice was received that the old boys in Auckland had formed so association, and every success was wished them.
Apologies were received from Messrs R. A. Outhbert, Stewart, and A. McDuff and Dr. Gunn.
