MOTORCYCLIST HURT.
PILLION-RIDER ALSO INJURED. Colliding with a motor-car in Papanui road last evening, a motor-cyclist, Thomas Kidd, single, aged 22, of 51 Charles street, Linwood, received a fractured left leg. Myra Fifield, aged 17. of the same address, who was pillion-riding on Kidd's machine, received minor injuries to her legs, and a severe shaking. They were admitted to the Christchurch Hospital at 8.15 o'clock. ' , When the accident occurred Kidd was riding north along the Papanui road. He encountered the car at the Knowles street intersection. At a late hour last night hi? condition was stated to be satisfactory.
