Their Majesties' first afternoon party at Buckingham Palace since 1928, given to the Naval Conference delegates and others, marks a further stage l in the King's recovery. He looked well, but seemed a little tired after receiving two hundred guests, and sat down in thepicture gallery, where he remained seated while talking.
