REPORTS REGARDING ENGAGEMENT. (tllllß THES3 AS-JOCJUTIOX— SI UXIIKI* TBLEGHAPH—COPtEIGHT.) (Received February 24th, 11.20 p.m.) BUCHAREST, February 24. Princess Ileana's engagement continues to be the subject of contradictory reports. Although it is persistently stated from Bucharest that the engagement is ended, Count Hochhert utnats that this is untrue. The Count, who is at present at Cannes, declared: "It is simply a question of religion. The princess is Orthodox and I a Catholic. The Pope refuses permission to marry, but this question will soon be settled."'
