HIGH TEMPERATURES IN N.S.W.
(CIUTM) PBBBS ASSOCIATION —BT EX.ECTHTO TELBOaAPH—COPYRIGHT.) SYDNEY, February 24. On Saturday the temperature at 2.30 p.m. was 106.3, the second highest February reading ever recorded in Sydney. The highest, 107.8 degrees, was registered on February Bth, 1926. Twenty country stations recorded over 100 degrees on Saturday, including Singleton, Muswell Brook, Moree(llO), Menitidie (108), anjl Bourke (107). A westerly wind brought great clouds of dust, causing much consternation in some places among children. Lights were necessary itl the early afternoon in Narrowmine.
