EAST CHRISTCHURCH SCHOOL COMMITTEE.

At the monthly meeting of the East Christchurch District School Committee there were present—Messrs Rosendale (chairman), Maddren. Atkinson, Stokes, Dann, Mrs McFarlane, and the headmaster. The headmaster reported that on reopening the school after the vacation 43 boys and 23 girls were admitted, while 51 boys and 53 girls had left, leaving a roll number of 363 boys and 326 girls. fnie Dental Nurse reported that 169 children had received attention during December, while 40 came from Richmond in December and 126 in January.
