Mr S. H. Nunn was pleasantly surprised yesterday by the number of people who spoke to him of the "warning" published by another taxi organisation. By advertisement this .firm "warned the public against a taxi with a yellow band round it, as it was not a Gold Band Taxi." Mr Nunn says his clients know very well that he is an independent driver, and they know his fares are as low as any in the City, in some cases lower. He thinks the publication of the so-called "warning"' will be a good thing for him, as New Zealanders, like all Britishers, have an appreciation of fair play. Mr Nunn is on the Post Office stand, telephone 32-674. Hire the taxi with the yellow band on it, and get as good service as Christchurch can give. —6
