Fred Younff (England, 13.13) knocked out George Moderich (New Zealand, 14.1), in the third round at the Melbourne Stadium to-nigjit. It was an unsatisfactory ending to an' even bout. Moderich, off his balance, went down to a light tap in the third round. Th© majority of tho spectators considered the final blow was delivered when Moderioh was in a sitting position. It was an unpopular decision. The New Zealander. who wac in no way distressed, was cheered at tho finish.
