The Air Minister (Lord Thomson) states that it had beeu proposed to have a joint funeral, with full Royal Air Force ceremonial, for SquadronLeader A. G. Jones-Williams and FlightLieut. X. H. Jenkins, who lost their lives in Tunis while attempting to break the world's long-distance riving record. Jenkins will be buried in the Eoyal Air Force ground at Ipswich cemetery, where the officers of the Royal Air Force stationed at the aeroplane and armament experimental establishment at Martlesham Heath, to which the deceased officer belonged, are interred. There will accordingly be no ceremony when the bodies of the two officers arrive at Southampton. If the relatives agree the two officers will be buried with Royal Air Force honours. The Air Council, Air Force commands, and units concerned will be officially represented, and bearer and firing parties will be provided by theservice. HOLLAND-JAVA SERVICE. (united press association— by electric telegsafh—copyright.) WELTEVREDEX, December 29. After eight mail flights the Holland-to-Java enterprise has been halted.
