MOTORIST'S SECOND OFFENCE. 4PBESB ASSOCIATION TEI BORAH GISBORNE, December U7. Before Mr Harper, S.M., this morning, a lorry driver named Albert Edward Simpson pleaded guilty to being found in charge of a lorry at an early hour in the morning, while in a state of intoxication. The police stated that accused was convicted of a similar offence in Auckland on May 18th, ll»-7, and his license was cancelled for two years. The Magistrate said the offence wan a serious one, and accused did not appear to take notice of the previous warning. Accused wa* fined £ls. llie license was cancelled, and he was declared unfit to hold a license for two years.
