CANTERBURY CHAMPIONSHIPS. YESTERDAY'S PLAY. Play *as continued in the Canterbury Croquet Association's Christina* tournament on the United Club's lawns yesterday. Weather conditions in the morning were ideal, fcut rain interfered with play lor a while in the afternoon. However, later on the weather cleared, and the players were able to continue. Besults:— LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIP. (Becond Life.) Second round—Mrs Hadfield beat Mrs Palmer, 26-20. Third round —Mrs Maddren beat Miss Gerard, 26 2. A Level Singles. Third round—Mrs Tyera beat Mrs Beanland, 26-14; Mrs MeOullough beat Mr« Smithson, 26-15. Third round—Mrs Scandretfc beat Holmes, 26-10; Mrs Palmer beat Miss Gerard, 26-7. B CHAMPIONSHIP SINGLES (JUNIOR). Final —G. Kichardson beat Mrs Colwill, 2614 B HANDICAP DOUBLES. Final—Mrs Faulkner and Mr* Colwill beat Hindmarsh and Miss Muff, 26-17. IZARD MEMORIAL DOUBLES. Semi-final —Mm Scandrett and Mrs Rinaldi beat Mrs Oxley and Tyers, 26 10; Mrs Maddren and Mrs Tyers beat Mm Beanland and Mrs McCullounh, 26-10. The following is the draw for to-day.
