. # KANIERI CLUB'S REGATTA. (SPKCXAL TO THE EBBSS.I HOKITIKA, December 26. Beautiful weather prevailed for the Kanieri Boat Club'a regatta on Christmas Day, and this beauty spot drew a large crowd. There was some good racing, with the following results: — „ Andrew's Merry Moments, piloted by Hackell, won the Kanieri Lake championship, three miles, in 7min '2sec, with Gooch s Wasp second in 7min 15sec. Robinsons tit-a-Pat palled out owing to an accident. The B Class championship was won by Pit-a-Pat in Bmin 34sec. The boat was piloted by Mr Kobinson, C. OoLyer a so Long being second in Smin s&»ec. The other starters finished in tb*; following order: Silvei Streak, Bmin 59sec; Playmate 9min 34sec; and Bun OS, lOmin 3"2 sec. >uS Se<i pu'led out. _ The open handicap was won cy Buzz Un, on the limit, in llmin; So from Imin 35eec was second in Bmin 31aec; wasp, Bmin 6eec, from the 3min osec mark, was third.
