SELF-INDULGENCE CONDEMNED.

LONDON, September 14.
At the Soman Catholic emancipation centenary celebration at the Albert Hall it was declared that the Creator had bestowed upon men instincts and passions to use according to reason for the perpetuation of life. Some people desired to substitute self-gratification for self-control. Birth control advocates really condoned every form of self-indulgence within and without the married state.
Painters, theatrical artists, and women's fashion designers had rendered self-control more difficult. —Australian Press Association.
