SCHOOL GAMES. A football and basketball tournament, combined with a sale of work on a small scale, was held at Temuka yesterday in aid of the school funds. There was a good attendance and it is estimated that the net receipts will total at least £25. The P«zes w°n were presented by Mr A. E. Smith (chairman of the committee of the Temuka. District High School) at toe conclusion of the tournament. The following are the results: —Open section, final: Temuka D.H.S. A 4 beat Geraldine Girls A 1.
