ANNUAL COMPETITIONS.

The competitions of the Band of Hope, were continued in the St. Paul's School Hall last evening. The judges were: Elocution, Mr J. Voss; pianoforte, Miss L. Fnlwood, L.T.C.L., L.A3.; vocal, Mr K. G. (not national); recitation, Class B, girls. Union selection, "The Little Soldiers"; recitation. Class B, boys. Union selection, "What to Be"; humorous recitation. Section 11., girls, own selection.
