Injuries to the face were suffered by Alfred William Bißwood. single, 26 years of age. who elides at Chaney's Corner, when be collided with a motorcar at the corner of St. Alhans street and Papanui road late last night. Tt is stated that the car did not stop after the collision, and Bigwood was picked up unconscious. He was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital, but his condition was reported as not serious.
