MELBOURNE, August 5
The reign of terror by armed bandits continues. Hold-ups over the weekend totalled seven, [n each case unescorted women were the victims, and in two cases at Moonee Ponds shots were fired to intimidate the victims. The proceeds in the majority of cases were small.—Australian Press Association.
