Forecast. A series o; depressions of the westerly type extends from the Australian Bight to southern -New Zealand. An anti-cyclone is parsing the Dominion to the northwards. Present indications are for winds between north and west, moderate to strong generally, and reaching gale force at times m and south of Cook Strait; was rough south of Cape Egmont, in Cook Strait, and in offshore waters south of Castlopoinl, elsewhere moderate; strong north-westerly winds to gales and rough seas in the eastern Tasimn;
