FARM COURSE ENDS.
The short farm course at Lincoln College ended yesterday, the thirtytwo farmers who attended being well satisfied with what they had learned. Before they disbanded, Mr T. Monaghan, of Fairlie, expressed satisfaction at the courses of instruction given. Many of the class hoped to return nest year. The farmers were asked what was the most suitable time of the year for the course, and they thought that farmers were freer in July than in any other month. The college authorities have gained much information throughout the course which will enable them to give even better service next year, and evidently short farm courses at the college have come to stay. Most of those who attended this year were in a small way on the land, and the instruction given will help this class as much as any.
