ENGLISH TEAM'S TOUR. For the tour of New Zealand by the M.C.C. team which is to visit Australia this year, arrangements were about completed yesterday at a meetin"- of the .Management Committee of thu New Zealand Cricket Council. Owing to the indisposition of the chairman (Mr A. T. Donnelly) the meeting was held at his residence. There a)*o iverc- Messrs K. R. Caygill, I>. E. Wanklyn. J. Ramsden, H. M. Taylor, and \V. H. Winsor (hon. secretary). The meeting was culled to consider letters from the Australian Board of Control relative to the Australian portion of the tour, the absence of :he information contained in the letters having deh.yed action by the Management Committee. The tour will include five matches in Australia. The first will Ije at Perth on October 31st and the final one at Brisbane towards the end of November. The matches will be against Western Australia. South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland. The team is due to arrive in Wellington on December 10th. The Management Committee's proposal is to include four matches against major associations, ten minor associations, and three matches against New Zealand. The New Zealand itinerary has yet to be confirmed by the associations concerned The committee is not yet in possession definitely of the personnel of the English team.
