TALKING PICTURE APPARATUS.
DEPUTATION TO BOARD OF TRADE. (BRITISH OWICIAI, WTMSI.BSS.) (Received July 18th, 7.10 p.m.) RUGBY, July 17. The Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Trade, Mr W. R. Smith, received a deputation from the Cinematograph Exhibitors' Association to-day, which made certain proposals for securing inter-changeability of talking pictures on different reproducing apparatus. He promised that their representations would be given careful consideration, and a further meeting may be held later.
