FIRES.
NELSON DWELLING DESTROYED. fraass AMoenno* n leg in v.) NELSON, July 11. A lire, the origin of whieh is unknown, destroyed one dwelling occupied by Mr Leslie Buffell and damaged two others in Mount street to-day. A portion of Mr C. Sanderson's house on the north side of Mr Buffell's was burnt, and Mr G. Leslie Miller's place, on the other side, was damaged, the. gh not so badly. The destroyed house was the property of Messrs R. and J. Black, and was insured in the State Office for £SOO, and in the Mercantile and General Office for £IOO. Mr Buffell'« furniture was insured for £450 in the Norwich Union Office and Mr Sanderson's house for £SOO in the Sun Office, while the contents were insured for £2OO in tfa* North British Office
