CALEDONIAN SOCIETY.
A social wh held by the Canterbury Caledonian Society on Wednesday. Mr Geo. Bey occupied the chair. Three new members were elected. Miss Joan Poff; gavotte, Misses Rhona Bill and Norma Bturrock; recitations. Master Keith Wootton, Misses T. Darragh, Prance* fleid. Mary Craighead, Ronamai Knight*. Norma Sturroek, and Master Don McTyean; pianoforte solos, Misses Jean Edgington Davies, and Vonnie Caldow; violin solo. Master Manrie* Co*; pianoforte du»t. Masters l'ercy and Gerald Gedrieg: pianoforte trio. Misses J. Houghton, M. K'dman, and 3. Kidman; Highland fling. Miss Joyce Sawtell; sailor's hornpipe. Miss Joyce Fra*>r; Highland fling. 1929 pupils: Highland reel. Misses Irene Clark, Mnriel Biggs, and Masters Percy and Gerald Geddep. The accompanists were Mr G. C. Russell, Mrs Taylor, Miss Davie*, and Miss Wheatley. At the conclusion of the concert dancing was indulged In to the music of Mr E. Jackson's Orchestra.
