MAWSON EXPEDITION. PERSONNEL ANNOUNCED. (TrirrrrD press association —bi *x*ci»tc TELEGRAPH —COPTaIOaT.) (Received July 10th, 10.50 p.m.) MELBOURNE, July 10. The personnel of the Mawaon Expedition to Antarctica was announced today as follows '.— Commander—Professor Sir Douglas Mawson. Medical Officer —Dr. Wilson Ingram, formerly Lecturer of Physiology nt Sydney University. Senior Zoologist—Professor Harvey Johnston, of Adelaide University. Assistant Zoologists—Mr H. Fletcher, Australian Muenm, Sydney, and Mr R. A. Falla, of New Zealand, Lecturer in Nature Study at the Auckland Training College. Chemist—Mr Alfred Howard, a graduate of Melbourne University. Plankton Expert—Mr J. W. 8. Marr, who was associated with the former Discovery Expedition and with the Shackleton-Rowett Expedition. Meteorologists —Messrs B. G. Simmers of the New Zealand Survey Office, and H. Moves, of H.MJ3. Penguin. Echo Sounding and Wireless Expert— Petty-Officer Williams, who was appointed in England. Official Photographer and Cinema Expert—Captain Frank Hurley. Pilot—Pilot S. Campbell, of H.M.A.B. Albatross. Two other scientists may be appointed, while if accommodation can be found a physicist will be added to the party. An additional pilot will also be selected. —Australian Press Association.
