The Electricity, Finance, and By-Uwa Committee reported that the tender of the British General Eleetrio Co., of «60, for a twelve months' supply of lamps, had been accepted. The offer of the McLean Institute to pay 30s per annum for a street '.nmp at tbe Quamby stop was accepted. It waa resolved to boar half the coat with the New Brighton Council of a atree* lamp at the corner of Britannia street and Beach road, provided the half cost did not exceed the usual rate for boundary lamps. (80s per annum). The Drainage Board wrote advising that in future it would only pay 9| per cent, commission for the collection of rates, instead of ! 5 per cent.
