SWIMMING.
MEETING OF CANTERBURY CENTRE. A meeting of the Canterbury Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association was held at the Chamber of Commerce, Worcester street, last evening. Mr M. E. Lyons presided over a good attendance. It was decided to appoint the chairman as delegate from the Centre to the Jubilee celebrations of the Kugby Union to be held on July 26th. Suggestions for amending the rules or the efntre, which will be f«*«*": cussed and agreed upon at the annua meeting in October, were then dealt with. j t
