CROWN AREA SOLD. (CXITEP FBBSS aSSOCIATION —BI ELBCTEIC TELEGRAPH COPTBiGHT., SYDNEY, July 9. The New Zealand horse Crown Area has been sold to the trainer, W. Booth, who was impressed with the hone's performance on Saturday, although previously Crown Area had been disappointing. Negotiations are proceeding in another quarter for the purchase of Mr McCombe's other horse, Moorgss.—Australian Preaa Association. SCRATCHING OF COBBON. MELBOURNE. July 9.
