KINGS HEALTH.

X-RAY EXAMINATION. TROUBLE MERELY LOCAL. (UHTTB© WUSSS ASBOCIATIOIT— ST SLECTEIC TSLEGBATH—COPTBTOHT.) LONDON, July 8. The X-ray examination of the King was docided upon following a visit to Buckingham Palace last night by Lord Dawson of Pcnn. The examination took place this afternoon, and it was officially stated this evening that X-rav photographs of the sinus in his Majesty's chest were taken this afternoon, and will be examined during the next 24 hours. Tho consultation during which the X-ray photographs were taken laßted an hour and a quarter, and was attended by Dr. Graham Hodgson, radiologist, Lord Dawson, Sir Hugh Rigby, Sir Stanley Hewett, and Dr. H. L. Martin, tho King-'s Windsor physician, who treated the King for the abscess six weeks ago, and who is staying at the Palace. The King's new trouble is merely local, but necessitated the postponement of his trip to Sandringham and roused public anxiety. The Prince of Wales arrived at the Palace at 12.30 to make enquiries regarding his father's health, and received a reassuring report. There will be no issue of a bulletin, ae his Majesty's condition does not warrant such a step. It is learned officially that the King spent practically the whole day in the garden at Buckingham Palace. Late tonight it was stated that he was quite comfortable. It is considered unlikely that his Majesty will move from the Palace for at least a week. Sir Stanley Hewett and Dr. Martyn are staying at the Palace to-night. To-morrow the Prince of Wales will hold a full-dress official investiture at St. James's Palace, on behalf of the King. According to present arrangements the Royal Garden Party will be held at the Palace on July 25th. —Australian Press Association, Official Wireless.
