TREMORS IN GREYMOUTH.

SEDDONVILL 1 " REFUGEES ARRIVE. (SPECIAL TO TKS rZ*SS.) GREYMOUTH, July 7. A number of tremors were felt at intervals yesterday, while there was a further slight shock at noon to-day. A number of refugees from Seddonville arrived in Reefton yesterday from West port, and went on by express to relatives and friends in Christchurch. Messrs Newman Bros, will commence a motor service from Nelson to Reefton and Westport, via Maruia Valley on the 15th inst. The journey will occupy an hour or two longer than by the old route, but is through very fine soencry. Messrs Armstrong and party's cooperative coal mine at Dunollie, in which there was still six months' coal mining to be done, has been abandoned owing to tha severity of the earthquake damage. At a meeting of the Kumars, Rafting Club, held on Friday evening, it was decided to vote the sum of £25 to the earthquake relief fund.
