FUNERAL OF KEITH ANDERSON.

FULL MILITARY HONOURS

(UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION —BY ELECTSIC TELEGRAPH —COPYRIGHT.) SYDNEY, July 6. Every flag in Mosman is at half mast to-day on the occasion of FlightLieutenant Keith Anderson's funeral. The body was lying in State yesterday in the Mosman Presbyterian Church. Anderson was accorded a full military funeral, and an enormous crowd witnessed the interment at a special site on St. George's Heights, overlooking the entrance to the harbour. The site was given by the Mosman municipality. Representatives were present from the Navy, Army, and Air Force, and also from local and public bodies. Three motor 'learses were filled with the floral wreaths, which included one from the All Blacks.—Australian Press Association. WIDESPREAD SYMPATHY. (Received July 7th, 11.55 p.m.) SYDNEY, July 7. Pathetic figures among the mourners at the funeral were Mrs Anderson, deceased's mother, and Miss Hilliard, his fiancee. No funeral in recent years has stimulated such widespread sympathy and interest. Men and women were in tears, both at the church and at the graveside. A fine wreath was received from the crew of the Southern Cross, and also a beautiful floral aeroplane from Mr John Cantor, who backed Anderson's rescue venture. —Australian Press Association.
