ORANGE PARADE.
SERMON AT ST. PAUL'S. In colourful Lodge regalia, and led by the Christchurch Pipe Band, brethren and sisters of the Loyal Orange District Lodge, No. 5, Christchurch, marched through the City yesterday to St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, the occasion being the annual church parade and service in connexion with the July celebrations. A Union Jack held pride of place at the head of the procession, while an open Bible, carried in accordance with custom, symbolised another of the Orange institution's ideals. District Master Worshipful Brother C. JForbes was supported by district officers and Grand Lodge officers, M.W.B. s J. Middleton, P.G.M., and J. W. Warren, G.S.D. The Rev. W. Bower-Black was the preacher at St. Paul's Church. He dealt with the great objectives of the religion of the Reformation.
