FOUND INJURED ON ROAD.

MAN STATES MOTORIST DID NOT STOP. Stating that he was knocked down by a motor-car which did not stop after the accident, a young man, Frederick Collins, employed as a porter at the Islington Hotel, was found lying on the Yaldhurst road on Friday night. He was removed to the Christchurch Hospital at 11.45 p.m., suffering from an injury to the nip. His condition was reported yesterday to be satisfactory. There were no eye-witnesses of the accident.
