ROADMAN KILLED.
(rBWS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) HOKITIKA, July 6. The i>olice advise this afternoon that John Mcßride, roadman employed in the Haast Pass track repairs, was killed on Fridav as the result of a fall of stone. Constable Moodie left this afternoon for the scene of the fatality. It is understood that the deceased" came from Otago.
