NEW OPERA HOUSE.
GEORGE WALLACE'S REVUE. SESSION OPENS TO-NIGHT. To-night, at Fullers' New Opera House, theatregoers will be greeted by a gala opening performance by George Wallace and his newly-organised Vaudeville Kevue Company, direct from a phenomenally successful season in Auckland, where the huge St. James's Theatre was packed at every performance during the whole of the record season ot 21 weeks. George Wallace has arrived with a bright and breezy show, full of surprises and novelties, and is overflowing with that most essential of all essential qualities of revue, "pep." The first portion of the programme will be devoted to varied vaudeville items, all of which will show the versatility of this brilliant company. Some of the most popular items to be presented ore- "George Wallace and His Flaming Youths," the latest in jazz bands, which will be heard for the first time in Chnstchureh. The Two Dudleys will present snappy natter and harmony A rollicking comedy sketch entitled "Mystery Manor." written by George Wallace, is an excellent skit on a mvstery play, and is said to keep the audience" shrieks of laughter with thrill after thrill throughout the piece Special musical,dance, and song items will be rendered by Tack Scott, Maida Jones. Marshall Crosby 'and the "Six Rascals." The second half of the programme will be taken up by George Wallace's new musical comedy revue. entitled "The Pickled Porter." Interspersed with the comedv is lots of smart dancing, and the Six Rascals who, by the wav are as pretty a bevy of girls as pver stepped on a staso. have some colour ful offerings. The fro<-king, scenery. and lighting effects are said to be up to a high standard, making on- of the brightest -rxne ohows on the Fn iters' circuit.
