The Chr is lchurch Courses Club held their eocond meeting at Sockburn on fcaturaajThere were some good dogs and pups in both stakes, EiTv Lad, winner or the fcockburn Maiden Stakes, beine; a young dog 01 great promise. In the first event only ttiree dogs competed, but ever? course resulted in a kill. Results: SOCKBURN MAIDEN STAKE. (First Round. 1 Owing to the non-appearance cf Mr O Blacklock's Gipsy King. Mossvale (Mr J MeMillanl won by default. , Mr J. C. Smith's Efty Lad beat Mossvaie.
