CROSSING ACCIDENT.
INQUEST ADJOURNED. The inquest into the death of John Butler Nisbet, aged 76, who was killed when the Parnassus express struck him at the Factory road crossing, Belfast, on Friday evening, was opened on Saturday morning before the Coroner, Mr E. (J. Lewey. -, Mr 6 H. Chambers, Railway Traffic Inspector, represented the Kaii»«.j Department. -j Constable P. Moore, of Belfast. saiQ he was on the scene soon after tne accident and removed the body to t ■- morgue. Witness identified it as tnat of Nisbet, of North road. Belfast, nhad known him for 50 years was a widower and an old age pensioner. Nisbet's hearing was good, hilt one of his eyes was defective. He waemploved at the freezing works at lieifast. 'The bicycle was picked up w vards from the crossing, and his nai 10 vards awav. Sixty-two pounds notes had been found on the ? od^-. The inquest 'was adjourned sine cue.
