New Zealand to-day is on a par or in advance of any other country in the world as far as electricity is concerned, and 'the use of domestic electrical appliances. This can be readily seen by the following figures (taken from the Public Works Statement ef 1928): — TotaJ Number Consumers of Electricity in Dominion to 31/3/1928 • •• •• 243,795 Total Electric Water Heaters Installed to 31/3/1928 21,513 Total Electric Cooking Ranges Installed to 31/3/1928 15,766 The Electric installations for the year 1928 (showing the immense strides being made) were as follows: Water Heaters .. .. .-., .... .. 7,353 Ranges .. .. .. .. »• .. 6,255 Manufacturing Costs The manufacturing costs are based on the experience of the DUX Electric Heaters (World's Rights) Limited, and such eosts are absolutely guaranteed by them to the New Zealand Company in their sales agreement for the first year of the present Company's business.
