HARRIERS.
—' — COMBINED CLUBS' RUN AT KAIAPOI. The Christchurch Harrier Clubs wera the guests of the Kaiapoi Harrier Club at a run held at Kaiapoi on Saturday afternoon. Six clubs were represented, and the runners in all totalled 130, a record attendance for the sport in Canterbury. The trail was laid over a stiff six-mile course by L. Hill and C. Hercus, and the puper was followed by three separate packs, a slow, an intermediate, and a fast pack. The first man to finish was F. A. Nelson, of the flow pack, with A. Clarke, a member of the local club, second. The first to finish of the intermediate pack was A. H. Candy, with P. H. Clapshaw and R. O. Page second and third respectively; while of the fast pac~, C. Gordon was first home, followed cosely by E. C. Jackson and A. D. Rane ; .
