GOOD FISHING.
GOVERNOR-GENERAL IS LUCKY. [THE PBESS Special Service.] AUCKLAND, May 3. The Governor-General, Sir Charles Fergusson, fishing in the Tongariro River yesterday, secured 13 beautiful rainbow trout, the largest being aten pounder. The catch averaged ojlb. Fishing again this morning before breakfast, his Excellency landed four more fish, the largest being another ten-pounder. , . i ,. , The other two rods in this party have done almost equally as well a total of 35 fish having been landed in a day and a half.
