PARISH MEETING.
ST. MARTIN'S, SPREYDON. At the annual meeting of St. Martin's Church, Lincoln road, Spreydon, the vicar the Rev. D. Rankin, presided over a good attendance of parishioners , , n „. The balance-sheet showed a credit balance of £27 an increase for the year of ~-lOfficers were elected as follows:—Wardens. Messrs H E. Street and F. D. Neaye; vestry. Messrs L. Cos. Coulter, Crompton, Mathias. H. Moore. G. Street, and Yeatman; auditor, Mr J. I. Smail. . The choirboys' prizes for excellence in choir work were won by Stan Berry, with Norman McKeish second. In presenting the prUes the vicar announced with «*«*«*«; 1. jj Tay'' or - who acted with great v.ju£" *b orsanist and choirmaster during the past vear. had resigned owing to the nres*ure of other duties. Votes of thanks were passed to the lay readers and to all other church workers.
