Personal. Mrs "N. Awowsmith (Taumarunui), is -visiting her parents, Mr and Mrs Andrews, West Lyttelton. Water Supply. At the meeting of the Borough Council on Monday night, the borough engineer (Mr H. H. Barnard) reported on the unsatislao tory pressure of water supplied to houses in the triangle adjoining the liytteltpn Ciub. He suggested that the area be supplied from the middle level instead of from the lower level as at present. On the motion or Cr. W. X. Foster, seconded by Cr. W. D. Gower, it was decided to carry out the work immediately. Harbour ilght Theatre. There was a well-filled house at the Harbour Light Theatre last evening, when a programme of pictures a&d vaudeville was presented. The picture programme consisted of a drama, "Square Crooks, starring Dorothy Dwan, a Western drama, "Desert Valley, featuring Buck Jones, and a further episode of "The Collegians." Kose and Kay, comedians and songsters, presented a pleasing turn of songs, daacing, and comedy, their offering being much to the liking of the audience. The picture programme only will be repeated to-night To-morrow "The Kire Brigade," a drama of fire-fighting, starring May McAvoy, will be screened: The supporting programme includes a comedy, cartoon, and gazette.
