(fUESS ASSOCIATION TOLMMtAIC.) HOKITIKA. January 2. A Kokatahi settler's wife is reported to have been sand-bagged in bed on New Year's Eve, but the intruder could not be found by the only other occupant of the house at the time, who went to |nv«stigate the unusual noise.
